Thankful

It's not that hard. You just need to remove yourself from the situation, slow down, and look around.

I'm thankful that I live in a country where I can become anything I want to.  Serve anyone I want to.  Work as hard, or as little, as I want to.

I am thankful that my little family and I live in a safe place surrounded by similarly minded people.  People who have become extended family.

I am thankful that if one store doesn't have what I need, or even what I want, I literally can go down the road to buy it elsewhere.

I am thankful for my health.  I am thankful that I live in the times that I do where I can get life saving help to ensure I wake up tomorrow.

I am thankful that I woke up this morning next to someone who loves me.

I am thankful that just down the hall my little offspring was dreaming about whatever it is they dream about.

There was hot water coming out of the faucet when the heater kicked on because it was colder than I liked.

I am thankful for the home that I have.

I am thankful that I have enough food to go a few days without shopping.

I am thankful that if a neighbor needed something from my pantry that I have more than enough to share.

I am thankful that if in the middle of the night and I want Handel's ice cream, someone invented a service to deliver that to my door while I can still wear my pajamas.

I am thankful for the loved ones who are still in my life.

I am thankful for the friends who have become extended family.

I am thankful to all of my customers who trust me with their home's problems and upgrades as they help me provide for my family.

I am thankful for far more than I can convey in this simple blog post.

It's not that hard.

Just be. Thankful

Have a grateful week my friend.  There's so much more to life than buying bargain shit this week. :)  *plus, it's Chas's birthday on Wednesday. :)

We hope your Thanksgiving is a wonderful one!

What a wonderful post…..it was an honor to meet you this morning at Dr Michele’s office. I care for my 90 y o mother (blind) & read her everything on your sticker, which I will put on my Blazer when I decide on the best place.

Love you, young patriot ❤️
